Have you ever thought about where your seafood comes from? Does ordering shrimp scampi contribute to the collapse of ocean fisheries? Do you eat groundfish? Join Prof. Hung from Prairie State College onboard a NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) ship to learn about where the answers to these questions come from. She was accepted to be a NOAA Teacher at Sea to help spread the word about the important research dedicated NOAA scientists and crew do and the opportunities that exist for students, teachers and anyone looking for an exciting career.
